BashBurn is a GNU GPL licensed CD burning application for the Linux console. It does not perform the actual burning itself, but acts as a menu driven frontend for cdrtools, cdrdao, dvd+rw-tools and other applications.
As of now, BashBurn supports:
- Burning data CDs/DVDs
- Burning audio CDs
- Burning and creating ISO images
- Burning bin/cue files
- Burning multisession CDs/DVDs
- Erasing CDRWs
- Ripping audio CDs to Ogg/Mp3/FLAC files
BashBurn is available in several languages such as English, Swedish and German and new translations are easily created by translating plain text files.
