e3 is a tiny text editor which is licensed under the GPL. It has a code size of less than 10 Kilobytes. It is completely written in Assembly language, but e3c, a version written in C, is available as well.
e3 has basic editing and arithmetic functions.
An editor called e3 also exists for the AIX operating systems from IBM.
[edit] Usage
e3 can emulate WordStar, Emacs, Pico, NEdit and vi keybindings. The default is WordStar. If e3 is executed through a symlink as e3em, e3ne, e3pi or e3vi it can be switched to the desired keybinding.
