GNAVI is an open source visual software development environment, like Delphi and Visual Basic. It is licensed under the GPL. The language foundation of GNAVI, unlike the Pascal or Basic of its main competition, is the international standard of engineering, Ada. GNAVI for Microsoft Windows offers comparable features to Delphi and Visual Basic including use of Active X controls and the ability to interface with .NET and Java. GNAVI is also currently being ported to Mac OS X, Linux and other Unix-like operating systems.

The GNAVI website has seen no activity or releases since 2004.
