LaTeX2HTML is a converter written in
Perl that converts
LaTeX documents to HTML. This way e.g. scientific papers - primarily typeset for printing - can be put on the Web for online viewing. Support ended in 2001. The newer script TeX4ht that supports MathML may be used instead.
This is not to be confused for image converting. LaTeX2HTML will only convert TeX structure into basic HTML for webpage viewing.
