Midori is a web browser using WebKit as a rendering engine, as well as a gtk2 interface. As of June 2008, it is still regarded as alpha status. However, Midori is currently packaged into Xubuntu's Intrepid Ibex release scheduled for October 2008. Current features include tabs, bookmarks and customizable search engine box. The browser is extensible via Javascript.[1]
Midori is now part of the XFCE lightweight desktop environment project, being included in its Goodies component.[2]
