Slingshot is a two dimensional, turn based simulation-strategy game set in the gravity fields of several planets. Slingshot is influenced by games such as Spacewar!, as its main feature is the gravity simulation.
The basic aim of the game is for one spaceship, on the left or right of the screen, to successfully shoot the other. The players are encouraged to use as little power as possible (using gravitational slingshots to achieve this) by the scoring system which deducts points for using more power.
Slingshot is basically a two player game, although the developers are reportedly working on single player, and online games.
